Is it okay to let dogs sleep in your bed?

It's up to you, and your personal preferences. There's some things to think about on this.

1 - Allergies. If you or anyone in your house has allergies or respiratory problems, letting a dog in the bed might not be a good idea. The dog could worsen allergies.

2 - Hygiene. Dogs can bring dirt, dander, and bugs into the bed. Regular grooming and cleaning can help to reduce this, but it's important to consider the cleanliness of your bed.

3 - Sleep disruptions. Dogs can be restless at night, which can impact your sleep.

4 - Behavior and training. If your dog is well-behaved, doesn't have any accidents, and respects boundaries, letting them in bed might not pose a problem. But if your dog has behavior problems or isn't well trained, it could create added challenges to sleep.

5 - Personal boundaries. Some people like to have a space for themselves, free form pets. Others find comfort and companionship in sharing their bed with their dogs.

Ultimately, it's what work best for you and your dog. It might be helpful to try a dog bed in the same room as a half step too, to see what works best for you and your dog.
