LoftKing Extra Firm Density Pillow
Superior Luxury Meets Superior Support
Introducing the newly redesigned LoftKing Extra Firm Density Pillow — engineered from the inside out to deliver the most stable, supportive, and elevated night’s sleep we have ever produced.
For years, the LoftKing earned a loyal following for its firmness and height. But customers increasingly asked for something even more supportive — a pillow that would stay lifted, never collapse, and cradle the head and neck in a way no traditional fill could match. We took that challenge seriously. What followed was a complete structural reimagining of what an extra-firm pillow could be.
A New Internal Architecture
Unlike standard pillows that rely on loose fill that shifts, settles, or mats down over time, the new LoftKing is built around a fixed internal chamber designed for absolute stability. This inner chamber is filled with a high-friction 5/95 down-and-feather blend — a proven formula used in luxury hotels to create internal resistance and prevent sinking. This creates the “backbone” of the pillow: a solid, reliable core that maintains loft throughout the night.

Surrounded in Cloud-Soft Microfiber
To soften and balance the firm internal chamber, we wrapped it in two outer layers of our signature Majesty™ down alternative microfiber. This surrounding fill mimics the plush, airy feel of premium down — but without the constant need to fluff or reshape. The result is a pillow that feels like a traditional luxury down pillow on the surface, yet holds its height and stability like no down pillow can on its own.
Designed for Support — Not Collapse
The benefit of this redesigned chamber construction is simple:
-
It doesn’t give out.
-
It doesn’t flatten.
-
It doesn’t migrate.
The internal chamber creates consistent lift beneath your head and neck, while the microfiber exterior provides softness and comfort. This dual-layer system makes the LoftKing ideal for:
- Back sleepers needing elevation
- Sleepers with neck or shoulder discomfort
- People with sleep apnea
- Heavy Snorers
- Bed readers
- Anyone who snores and benefits from a slightly raised sleeping position

What makes a down pillow \"ethically sourced\"?
An ethically sourced down pillow is one where the fill is obtained humanely as a byproduct of the food industry. At Queen Anne, our down is never harvested through live-plucking or force-feeding. We ensure all materials meet the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) and are IDFL certified to guarantee animal welfare and supply chain transparency.
Is 100% goose down more ethical than other down/feather blends?
While both can be ethical, 100% goose down is often considered the premium ethical choice because it utilizes only the softest under-plumage from mature birds. Pure goose down offers superior longevity and a smaller environmental footprint over time.
How can I verify my pillow wasn't live-plucked?
Verification comes from third-party certifications. Every Queen Anne Pillow is traceable to European farms that adhere to strict animal welfare laws. Our triple-washing process and IDFL certification provide documented proof that no live-plucking occurred.
How long does an ethical goose down pillow last?
A high-quality, ethically sourced down pillow can last 10 years or more with proper care. Because natural down clusters are more resilient than synthetic fibers, they maintain their 650 fill power much longer. This durability makes it a more sustainable, \"zero-waste\" option compared to synthetic pillows that need frequent replacement and are rarely biodegradable.
What is the difference between European and Asian goose down?
European white goose down is widely regarded as the gold standard for ethics and quality. European farms typically have stricter animal welfare regulations and colder climates, which result in larger, more insulating down clusters. This allows The Original Queen Anne Pillow to provide better
support with less weight.
Are ethical down pillows hypoallergenic?
Yes, most \"down allergies\" are actually reactions to dust and dander, not the down itself. Our ethically sourced down undergoes a rigorous triple-washing and purification process to remove allergens. For extra protection, we use a 300-thread-count, quill-proof cotton cover to keep the fill securely inside.
Is 100% goose down biodegradable?
Yes, 100% natural goose down and our 100% cotton ticking are fully biodegradable materials. Choosing a natural down pillow helps reduce the microplastic pollution associated with polyester \"down alternative\"
fills, making it the preferred choice for eco-conscious sleepers.
Why is European goose down more expensive?
The price of the Original Queen Anne Pillow reflects the cost of humane farming practices, small-batch processing, and hand-filling in our South Carolina studio. Unlike mass-produced pillows, each one is made to order to ensure the highest standards of luxury and ethical integrity.
Which firmness level is best for my sleeping position?
To get the most out of your ethical down pillow, choose a firmness based on
your sleep style:
- Firm: Ideal for side sleepers who need extra neck alignment.
- Medium: The best \"all-around\" choice for back sleepers.
- Soft: Perfect for stomach sleepers who want a low-profile, cloud-like feel.
How do I clean an ethical down pillow?
To preserve the natural oils and loft of the down, we recommend Dry Clean Only. Specifically, use a cleaner equipped with a pillow vac for down products. For daily maintenance, fluff your pillow every morning to restore its 650 fill power and maintain its shape for years to come.
