It’s being called the Pillow Fight of the Century. Last week, supporters of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell stumbled upon a Queen Anne Pillow Facebook ad promising to remove politics from pillow purchasing. The result turned out to be quite the opposite.

In just a few days, the post has received tens of thousands of views and hundreds of comments - mostly from angry MyPillow fans defending the recent actions of its CEO Mike Lindell. Lindell came under fire last week for meeting with now former president Donald Trump and suggesting he institute martial law to keep hold of power. As a result, Lindell’s MyPillow brand was dropped from major retailers, including Bed Bath and Beyond and Kohls.

Now Lindell’s tired supporters are cranky and looking to take their frustration out on his major competitor, Queen Anne Pillow.

Some of their comments include:

“Queen Anne go peddle your leftist crap somewhere else!!!”

“Patriots will stay with My Pillow.”

“You are no MY PILLOW or mike...I see what fb is doing..”

One Lindell defender even asked a Queen Anne fan, whose middle name is Chavez, if she was a democrat. Before receiving an answer, the woman followed up with, “Oh, just saw your middle name and my question was answered.”

Queen Anne founder Travis Luther says the original post promising to separate politics and pillows was meant to be a light-hearted joke. But Lindell’s followers think the ad is anything but funny. They have left comments ranging from conspiracy theories, election denials, and even blatant racism.

Queen Anne fans love the post and have praised Luther for his kind and witty comebacks.

“We live in surreal times. I don’t even need new pillows but I’m here for this shade.”

“Queen Anne is pumping out these comebacks! Lol!”

Even members of the military have come to Queen Anne’s defense. A uniform and pillow photo was captioned with, “I take my Queen Anne Pillow on every deployment with me. Best pillow I have ever used.”

Luther admits that at first the attacks were a little shocking. “I deleted the first few comments, because they were so offensive. But then I thought, no, let’s let this ride. The response from our customers and fans was amazing. Not only did they come to the defense of our company, but to our ideals about American democracy and the rule of law. It’s really been something to see.”

Luther says the ad, which offers 25% off your first purchase with coupon code: NOTMYPILLOW, will continue to run through Feb. 14, 2021.
